CRAVING a bit of a break from the British weather, Pillow Mag writer Mamie Hamshere took a trip to Portugal for some food, fresh air and fun.
Not only did she find a heady mix of serenity and culture nestled in Porto, but she also explored some gorgeous countryside up in the Duoro region.
Accommodation was booked courtesy of HostelBookers.com, whose readers recently dubbed the Tattva Design Hostel the best large hotel in the world in their annual awards, The Hoscars.
The Hotel Duoro Inn is away from the hustle and bustle of the city, showing off a different side of the country.
And who could spend a few days in Portugal without trying out the local cuisine and vino? It would be rude not to!
Here’s Mamie’s photo diary from Portugal. And don’t forget to Pillow Magazine on Instagram for more travel, art, fashion and beauty photographs.
