RITA Ora opened the MTV EMAs with her monster hit RIP on Sunday night, descending from the roof in a birdcage under a shower of pyrotechnics.
Wearing a lace red number (which would have made Cher jealous) the singer’s rise to the top of the pop game shows no sign of slowing down.
She was later seen with HILARIOUS comedian Alan Carr who was snapped backstage with the gorgeous Kosovan-born beauty.
Rita didn’t pick up any gongs on the night – Taylor Swift scored three including Best Female, Carly Rae Jepsen won best song for Call Me Maybe and Justin Bieber scored Best Male – but certainly opened up the ceremony in style.
Also performing were British band Muse and South Korean sensation Psy.
He picked up the award for Best Video for Gangnam Style and was joined by David Hasselhoff on stage.
No Doubt performed their new single Looking Hot – which they first performed on X Factor a week before.
Frontwoman Gwen Stefani looked AMAZING (She’s 43!) in a custom made Jean Paul Gaultier tuxedo over white shorts.
She teamed the jacket with over-the-knee boots and her trademark platinum locks and red lips.
Meanwhile show host Heidi Klum wore an array of absolutely AWFUL outfits which, as a model, it’s baffling how she made them look so awful.
The worst offenders included a blue floor-length number and a mustard-coloured cutaway dress.
She also sported a hideous orange number with some very questionable boots.
Maybe her mirror broke that morning?
Fun, whose hit We Are Young was the soundtrack to last summer, also took to the stage.
Frontman Nate Ruess opted for the ‘teacher on his day off’ look for the bash.
Rita’s make-up looked on-point too with a matte red lip, dark and defined brows and a hint of glitter.
We love the exotic lady’s blonde curls as they contrast against her dark features.
