VIDEO: The Fauns’ Seven Hours

SEVEN Hours is the first track to be released from The Fauns’ latest album, Lights.

Produced and directed by the man behind the legendary videos from Portishead, including their incredible headline set at this year’s Glastonbury, John Minton doesn’t fail to succeed.

Dark, full of shadows and low level coloured lighting during lead singer’s – Alison Garner – solos gives an eerie feeling of solitude.

And then, wham! In kicks the drums and guitars, and we’re flung into an abyss of close-ups, flashing rainbow lights and a lot of music.

The stark contrast suits the song well: a whirlwind of emotions about being lost in the dark with a blaze of fire lighting up to help her find her way.

Good job Minton!

Lights is released December 2nd.
