AFTER living in Australia for six years in my early twenties, the attraction being able to travel to another country with a whole different culture in a matter of hours has always appealed.
Being able to hop on a flight for a short break filled with stunning food, glorious sunshine and a lesson in a different language was just not possible when I lived Down Under.
So since coming back, I’ve explored Europe quite extensively and Majorca – one of the Spanish Balearic islands – has to be one of my favourite destinations.
If you move away from Magaluf, it’s a little haven of peace and quiet, where you can travel up into the mountains, nibble on beautiful food, top up your tan and sink a few wines.
I stayed at Finca Es Castell and their sister hotel Hotel Son Ametler near Inca.
Here’s a photo diary from Majorca. And don’t forget to Pillow Magazine on Instagram for more travel, art, fashion and beauty photographs.
