HEDONISM is the name of the game at underground London night Prohibition, this Saturday 11th June.
The evening goes back, time machine-style, to the antics of the 1920s and the secrecy of the era when alcohol was illegal (haven forbid, how would we cope without a nice gin and tonic on a sunny afternoon nowadays?)
Moonshine (OK, cocktails) will be served to renegades who have the thirst for the sauce in teacups and hidden away and offered in plant pots.Â
Sounds far more illicit and exciting than having a cider in the local on a Saturday night.
Frock up in your finest flapper outfit, or a sharp double-breasted suit and pencil-thin moustache for the guys, and expect to be amazed by Charleston dancers, gramophone DJs, showgirls and roulette.
Prohibition is being held at an undisclosed London location and tickets are only available in advance from here.
Doors open at 8pm, floor show and gambling commences at 9pm.
