Video: Short film Neville shot on Panasonic Lumix, Produced by Rankin

NEVILLE, a new short film shot entirely on the new Panasonic Lumix GH3, tells the story of a dinosaur and fossil enthusiast who finds a secret portal back in time.

Dressed in a dinosaur onesie (need to get us one of those), Neville’s alarm clock nestles in a Tyrannosaurus’ mouth, his room is covered in fossils and after a proper English fry-up, he heads to the coast to see what prehistoric treasures he can find.

However, as he digs through the rocks and boulders Neville gets more than he bargains for when he is transported back to the age of the dinosaurs.

The 3-minute movie is directed by Charlie&Joe from Rankin Film Productions and stars comedian Tom Davis.

And Neville’s picturesque journey from his home to the beach shows off the capabilites of the Lumix GH3 perfectly.

During the filming of the short, the camera had to be mounted on his moped and even used on a flying camera rig. Impressive stuff!

The GH3 is the successor to the DMC-GH2.
