SXSW festival has passed for another year and now, as the UK experiences April showers and temperatures that are making our dusty summer sandals weep, Coachella festival and Pillow Magazine save the day with sunshine-infused musical joy and a new playlist.
This month Pillow Magazine introduces the beautiful Rae Morris. The curly-haired songstress kick started 2013 touring with Tom Odell and Lianne La Havas and sounds like a Kate Bush, Feist and St Vincent vocal potion.
MSMR, PYYRAMIDS and French electro-pop duo unravel their fresh sounds that are intertwined in this playlist, sounds that are set to echo through festival tents and conquer dance floors worldwide this year.
The heavier notes of roaring guitars and lyrical attitude is left to welsh rockers The Joy Formidable revealing their new live video for Little Blimp filmed with a Go Pro strapped to lead singer’s Ritzy’s guitar and Dark Horses’ ‘music film’ for latest release, Alone.
