WE’RE quite partial to a sci-fi influenced collection here at Pillow Magazine, and we can see more then a touch of inspiration running through Andrew Majtenyi’s AW2013 outing.
It actually looks like the models are taking a walk through the Darth Vader’s favourite haunt, the Death Star in these images of their forthcoming collection.
But the starting point was actually less Star Wars and more salt – as the designer was actually inspired by the work of Japanese installation artist Motoi Yamamoto, specifically his Labyrinths pieces.
Yamamoto uses mounds of the condiment to create geometric patterns and landscapes in beautiful locations.
