Have you ever wanted to be a fashion designer? An artist? Or, a musician? Now you can with Orgnl.tv.
THERE IS a new artist on our Pillow radar who goes by the name of Anisa Moghaddam. Hailing from Manchester, the half persian and half French singer-songwriter is about to enchant you with her soulful pop sensibility with a hint of class.
WILLY Moon is somewhat of an enigma. The charismatic singer is sipping a double tanqueray and tonic, rocking a slicked-back quiff and blinking in the East London sunshine. His patter is laconic and his wit is so dry it makes the sahara look like the set of Waterworld.
ROCK N’ ROLL band Scoundrels have announced that they will be opening for The Kooks on their UK tour in October.
NATALIA Kills looks fierce. Her cheeks are loaded with blusher, her hair’s pulled back into a top knot and her lips are slicked with bright orange. She has just flown in from Mexico where she’s been opening for Katy Perry. She is is describing the sound of her debut album Perfectionist to me. “It’s like revenge pop, or kill your ex-boyfriend pop,” she tells me, dark eyes flashing under a wide dark slick of eyeliner.
TORI Amos is back with a beautiful new album, Night of Hunters set for release in September.
NICOLA Roberts is full of surprises. She has emerged from Girls Aloud as the cool, quirky one; finding favour with the fashion set and quietly building up her own sense of inimitable style. She’s side-stepped the pop world to work with Metronomy and Diplo on her debut solo album Cinderella’s Eyes and speaking to her on the phone, she is down to earth, open and chatty.
