WALKING to London Fields park on Saturday, I took a trip down Cheshire Street to take a look in all the boutiques.
I’m usually a shoe addict, but I was stopped in my tracks by the supple leather and classy designs of accessories boutique Mimi. I snapped up several pieces and will be going back for more.
Top of my list is a Classic Patrick in patent leather, which is perfect for looking stylish at the Oyster card barriers when traversing the tube. Next on my list is a Oscar travel wallet – ideal for holding your passport, boarding pass and travel documents. Love!
Mimi was founded in 2001 by London based designer Mimi Berry – a graduate of Central Saint Martins. All Mimi pieces are made from Italian leather and are manufactured in the UK which can be seen in every stitch of their top quality.
In 2007 Berry was commissioned by Tate Britain to design a unique collection of leather bags, purses and cardholders to be sold exclusively at Tate shops. The Mimi For Tate collaboration was so successful that the range remains ongoing with new styles launched seasonally.
