MEETING Sir Ian McKellan at an art exhibition (OK, touching his coat when we walked past him) was one of the highlights of 2012 for the team here at Pillow Magazine.
So it naturally follows that we are ridiculously excited to see him back in character as Gandalf in The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey.

The prequel to JRR Tolkein’s Lord Of The Rings is out on December 14th (that’s only two weeks away!) and Peter Jackson is back in the hot seat directing the movie.
In the new fantasy film, a curious Hobbit, Bilbo Baggins (Martin Freeman), journeys to the Lonely Mountain with a vigorous group of Dwarves to reclaim a treasure stolen from them by the dragon Smaug.
Benedict Cumberbatch, Billy Connolly, Ian McKellan, Elijah Wood, Cate Blanchett and Christopher Lee also star.
