SARTORIAL Elegance at the Picture Palace is the latest fantastic offering from the Cinema Museum. The cinema. The movies. The pictures. Whatever you call it, going to see a film is something of a British institution. Not to mention the most classic of first dates. If, like us, you love reminiscing about the ‘good old days’ and golden age of cinema, then the latest exhibition at The Cinema Museum will be right up your street.
Sartorial Elegance at the Picture Palace is an amazing collection of original vintage cinema uniforms. It recalls the amazing tailoring worn by cinema ushers- a far cry from today’s spotty teenagers in baseball caps! The exhibition is well worth a visit. If you’re anything like us, you’ll leave yearning for a good old-fashioned date at the pictures. The exhibition runs until 30 September 2013 at The Cinema Museum, SE11.
