IT HAS been 50 years since the untimely death of Marilyn Monroe, and the Getty Images Gallery has put together an exhibition in her honour, running until the 23rd of May.
Spanning the length of her career, the collection, seen for the first time in London, features everything from photography to dresses and costumes worn by the icon herself. There is also a showing of original video of Marilyn, offering a unique view into the life of one of the world’s most well-known and glamorous women.
Visit for free, Monday – Friday: 10am – 5.30pm and Saturday: 12 – 5.30pm (please note, closed for Easter weekend)

There will also be a smaller accompanying display at Getty Images Gallery in Westfield, Stratford City, which will be open from the until the 3rd of June (closed Sunday 8 April).
