JOAQUIN Pheonix is one of our favourite actors here at Pillow Magazine and we can’t WAIT to see his new film – The Master.
He plays Freddie Quell, a sex-obsessed World War II veteran battling with Post Traumatic Street Disorder and struggling to fit back into normal society.

He meets Lancaster Dodd (Philip Seymour-Hoffman) who is the charismatic leader of a movement called The Cause. Freddie and Lancaster team up to spread the word of The Cause with the help of Lancaster’s wife (Amy Adams).
The Master is on general release on Friday 16th November.
