WEÂ introduced you to Kodaline back in August, since then the band have released their debut EP, claimed Fearne Cotton’s record of the week with All I Want and gradually watched their YouTube views soar past the million mark. Now the band have been nomination in MTV’s Brand New for 2013.
MTV’s Brand New list is the annual talent search that has recognised huge acts such as Lady Gaga, Justin Bieber and Lana Del Rey over the years. Alongside Kodaline are nine shortlisted artists including electronic duo Disclosure, LA sisters Haim and Tom Odell who featured in November’s playlist.
The band’s latest single, The Answer is taken from their second EP The High Hopes, released in the new year. Watch the video and listen to Everything Everything’s remix of All I Want below.
