I MAKE no secret of the fact that I love The Body Shop.
I have a lot of time for their beauty range, and I’m even more excited that they can now talk about their anti-animal testing stance, now that they have been bought and are no longer part of the L’Oreal stable.
I’ve never been a huge fan of their body butters – I’ve found them greasy and unmanageable, but this Spa of The World Range – which includes a refining grape seed body scrub and green coffee firming body cream – is utterly divine. They are just SO good. They are available in huge tubs too (around the £22-25 mark) so that you’re really getting value for money.
I can’t talk enough about how much I rate this range. The grape seed body scrub is a lovely fine exfoliator, and just thick enough in consistency to ensure that it’s easy to scoop out and massage all over the skin. Once towelled off and dry, the firming body cream is cooling and refreshing and sinks into skin so easily that it’s just a joy to use. I really love it.
