I HAVEN’T stopped wearing Stila’s Magnificent Metals Glitter & Glow Liquid Eye shadow since I tried it, and it’s the only glitter product I’ve ever used that genuinely hasn’t creased or faded throughout the day.
It’s bloody fantastic.
At £23 it’s not the cheapest of glitters but it’s not the most expensive either and I’ve been searching for a product that actually delivers on its promises for … oh at least 20 years.
I plumped for Rose Gold Retro and the colour is subtle yet flattering, and I can’t rave about the pay off enough – it’s just so good! I know glitter eyeshadows should be confined to the realms of festivals, or fun nights out, but a little shimmer across the lids just lifts my mood. I’ve been thinking about make-up trends a lot lately, whether they are cyclical like fashion, and having just thrown out all my really old loose powders in favour of this product, I just can’t tell whether I’ll live to regret that decision.
Some beauty trends come back in fashion – but overall beauty is very much about moving forward, innovation and using new and updated technology and as such it’s not so cyclical as fashion.
I digress. However, if you want a brilliant kick of glitter to get you through the last of the winter nights as they turn into spring – I highly recommend this blitz of glitz from Stila.
