IT’S BLOODY JUNE – where is the sun?!
According to the weather reports, it’s going to be scorchio on Sunday and Monday (hurrah!) and as well as topping up with sun cream, I will also be drinking copious amounts of Orchard Pig Cider.
The best thing about this Somerset tipple is that it’s not too bubbly like most ciders. It’s incredibly easy to drink as it’s not sugary and sweet like it seems to be fashionable at the moment. I like scrumpy, apply, real ciders and this definitely ticks that box, except it’s got a smooth finish that makes it go down like a treat.
Hopefully the sun comes out this weekend and gives me an excuse to stock up.
It’s only a month till I go back to work so boozing it up on a Monday is totally acceptable, right?
