AS I’m in the final few (and very much unpaid) months of my Maternity Leave, I often find myself scouring the house for unwanted items to put on eBay, entering competitions, and dreaming of what I’d buy if I suddenly won the lottery.
A small lottery win and I’d immediately buy plane tickets to take my family away on a European holiday. My spiritual home is Slovenia and I’d love to take my baby to Ljubljana and then travel up and show him Lake Bled and Lake Bohinj.
If I came across a few thousand, maybe we’d be able to afford a big wedding. We could fly my finance’s Colombian family over and throw a real fancy shindig and I’d be able to buy the Sophia Webster flamingo shoes that I have had my eyes on for years.
However, if I won BIG – and I’m talking millions – I’d definitely have to snap up a few properties. My fiancé and I always talk about where we’d buy houses if we had the money and I think we agreed on: Colombia, Slovenia, London…. and a farmhouse in Majorca. So yeah, we’d just need to win a few quid then….
To boost your chances of winning some moolah, you can play the lottery in several different countries using MultiLotto or just pop down the local newsagent and pick up a ticket for the UK lottery (always play responsibly).
In the meantime, I’ll keep entering competitions (I’ve won sooo much stuff in the last few months) and keep hoping a windfall is coming my way..
