OH GOD, I am so bloody disorganised! My baby is over four months’ old and I still haven’t started writing in his baby book.
I looked for a baby book for absolutely ages until I saw this Orla Kiely one and totally fell in love with it. I adore Orla Kiely prints anyway and have loads of stuff for my house with her iconic prints emblazoned upon them.
I didn’t want a really ‘cutesy-style’ baby book for my son and the only ones I could see online were really baby-ish. Ha! Probably appropriate… for a baby!
Anyway, this one has lots of sections to fill out, which I must get on with. I feel like I need to get a lovely pen to start writing in the book, and my writing is so scruffy that I don’t want to ruin the beautiful pages. There are some sections where I feel like the most disorganised person EVER as I didn’t have an announcement card for Rafa’s birth – I sent everyone a text. And I didn’t have a scrapbook of images which inspired his nursery… but I did have a zillion pictures saved on my iPhone with colour themes and the wall stickers and decorations I wanted to buy.
I also think a really lovely baby book is such a good present.I remember being completely entranced as a child with my brother’s baby book. (I was the third child, I didn’t get one! Haha!).
